Venue guide · Talent, Rogue Valley
Getting married at Naumes Suncrest?
A family farmhouse, twenty acres of estate vines, and Rogue Valley views in every direction — fifteen minutes from our home base. Here's the planner's guide to the winery we design at most in the valley.
Why couples pick it
Naumes Suncrest Winery sits on Suncrest Road in Talent, between Ashland and Medford — a timeless farmhouse that's been in the Naumes family for generations, now a tasting room with a big open layout and panoramic views across the Rogue Valley to the Siskiyous. Around it: twenty acres of estate vineyard, pear orchards, spacious decks, fire pits, and a stage for live music. The wine bar pours the estate's own small-production wines — Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grown on the property your guests are standing in.
It reads "vineyard wedding" without a single rented prop: brick underfoot, big trees for the ceremony, vines to the horizon. The venue builds custom packages for everything from intimate gatherings to large celebrations, and they're dog-friendly — which we appreciate professionally and personally.
What we know from working it
The golden hour here is the whole show — the valley light comes across the vines late in the day, so we build ceremony and portrait timing around it. The farmhouse and decks give you real weather cover without a tent line item, the stage means live music needs zero infrastructure, and the fire pits are the natural end-of-night gathering point, so we plan the last hour around them instead of fighting it. And because the estate pours its own wine, the bar plan is simpler than at almost any other venue in the valley.
Talent is fifteen minutes from our Ashland base — no travel fee, and the vendor bench we use here (catering, florals, rentals) is the one we know best in the world.
What we do there
Everything on our weddings page: day-of coordination, partial planning, and full planning + design — plus all-inclusive micro weddings, which fit the farmhouse-and-lawn scale beautifully. We ran a full garden-party wedding here that shows the venue at its best: read the real wedding.
How the property works on a wedding day
The winery doesn't carve itself into named ballrooms — it flows, which is exactly what makes it good. The way we typically stage a day there:
The ceremony — under the big trees or facing the vines, with the valley and the Siskiyous as the backdrop. Late-afternoon start, so vows land in the good light.
Cocktail hour — the decks and wine bar. The estate pours its own Pinot and Chardonnay, guests drift with a glass, and nobody misses the couple because portraits are happening thirty yards away in the vineyard rows.
The reception — the brick patio for dinner (our floral-garland garden-party tables were built for it), the stage for the band or DJ, and the farmhouse as weather cover that doesn't feel like a plan B.
Last hour — the fire pits. Every Naumes Suncrest wedding ends there whether you plan it or not, so we plan it: late-night snacks, blankets out, the playlist softens, and the night lands gently instead of stopping.
Capacities and packages are custom-built by the venue for everything from intimate gatherings to large celebrations — confirm current details with Naumes Suncrest when you book, and we'll design your day to fit.

Things Naumes Suncrest couples ask us.
Where exactly is Naumes Suncrest Winery?
1950 Suncrest Road in Talent, Oregon — the Rogue Valley, between Ashland and Medford. About 15 minutes from either, and 20 minutes from the Medford airport, which makes it one of the easiest vineyard venues in southern Oregon for traveling guests.
Do we need a coordinator if the venue builds custom packages?
The venue handles the space; someone still has to run your day — the timeline, the vendors, the setup, the surprises. That's us. Because we work Naumes Suncrest regularly, our plans already fit the property's rhythm, and there's no travel fee this close to home.
What about wine and the bar?
The estate pours its own small-production wines — Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grown on the property. That usually simplifies the bar plan considerably; we'll help you sort out anything you want to add alongside it.
Is there a weather backup?
Yes — the farmhouse tasting room has a large open layout with panoramic valley views, so a weather move doesn't feel like a downgrade. We build the fallback into every plan anyway.
Can you do a micro wedding there?
It's one of our favorite settings for one. The venue builds packages for intimate gatherings, and our all-inclusive small weddings — tablescape, coordination, grazing table, photography, florals, cake — fit the farmhouse-and-lawn scale perfectly. Details are on our elopements & small weddings page.
